Val was an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed camping, waterskiing, fishing, snow skiing and golfing. Many of these clients became dear friends. It was here in the Rogue Valley that Val found love for navigating tax laws and analyzing financial decisions for various clients. After a brief time with the accounting firm Haskins and Sells (now DeLoitte Touche), he returned to the Rogue Valley to work in public accounting. Raised in the Rogue Valley and a graduate of Eagle Point High School, Val ventured on to Denver University (Colorado) to pursue his degree as a Certified Public Accountant. Val was born Jin Long Beach, California to parents Floyd and Lila Bubb. Val Arthur Bubb of Talent, Oregon passed away Sunday, Septemsurrounded by family. A memorial celebration will be held Octoat 2pm at RoxyAnn Vineyard, Medford. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either of these groups. Val was incredibly passionate about two particular organizations in the valley: Kids Unlimited and the Mount Ashland Association.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Bubb children, Valri Williams (husband, Greg), Dan Bubb (wife, Conny), and Teresa Bubb and grandchildren, Zach (wife, Maggie), Jessica, Danielle (husband, Frank), Isaac, and Madison as well as 3 great-grandchildren. More than anything, Val will be remembered for his mischievous smile, his magnetic demeanor, and his doting relationship with his wife, Katie. He was particularly fond of riding his bike and in fact, traversed the continental United States several times from East to West and North to South.
